Elder Michel J. Carter

Elder Michel J. Carter was named a member of the Sixth Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on October 5, 2019. He is responsible for the North America Northeast Area, Montreal Co-ordinating Council.

Elder Carter received a master of business administration from Brigham Young University and is a certified public accountant. He is the retired president and CEO of COGECO Radio-Television, Inc.

Elder Carter has served in numerous Church callings, including branch president, bishop, high councillor, stake president, France Toulouse Mission president and Montreal Quebec Temple president.

Michel Joseph Jules Carter was born in Drummondville, Quebec, Canada, on September 24, 1953. He is married to Danielle Delisle, and they are the parents of five children. Elder and Sister Carter reside in Lac-Brome, Quebec, Canada.
