Canada Yukon Territory

 

On 15 October 1963 a Latter-day Saint branch (a small congregation) was created in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. Meetings were held in rented quarters with 35 members. The branch now has a Church building of its own.

A highlight in branch history came in 1968 when a prominent Church leader, Elder LeGrand Richards, visited and witnessed the baptism of four people
